Lara Anjorin
Lara Anjorin originally qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor abroad in 1992. She qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2001 and went on to gain accreditation in Criminal Litigation as a Criminal Defence Solicitor in 2014.
She covers both police stations and courts in and around London. Currently, Lara works in a range of areas, including criminal litigation, commercial leases, and residential conveyancing cases.
Prior to joining Simon Bethel Solicitors in 2013, Lara worked in immigration and residential conveyancing firms in and around London. She has worked closely with barristers in several cases at the Crown Court, some of which generated interest from the media, including a serious case of fraud/forgery which involved several co-defendants and was reported on BBC news on 26th January 2018. Another of her high profile case involved trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence, which was reported on 21st and 27th July 2015 in the Eastern Daily Press.
Lara’s approach is to work closely with her clients to meet their expectation and is very proactive, diligent, and helpful. One client described Lara as “extremely professional and she takes special time out from her busy schedule to look after my case.” Another commented: “…simply I couldn’t have asked for better. Away from work, Lara is a wife and mum to three adult children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her interests lie in gardening, Home Decoration -DIY, taking long walks and reading novels.
